3 Day Refresh...the Reset I needed

Whooooaaa, I am writing on my blog! It has been awhile. Honestly, it just hasn't been a main priority for me. You know when you feel like you are spinning plates and you are just trying not to drop one? That has been me lately. I am not complaining...I am doing things I love! I am just needing systems in place...BUT that is another blog for another day!

Today I want to share my 3 Day Refresh results! What is the 3 Day Refresh? Well, it is a cleanse that helps you come back to center. It helps you refocus your body away from sugar and carb cravings, helps to de-bloat, and just gives you a quick reset. I did it the last 3 days because I was pretty off-track (oops! but it happens) and I am starting the 21 Day Fix Extreme today. I felt like a good reset was what I needed before diving into this more intense program!

So how does it work? Well...you get to eat! That is what I was most excited about. I had tried other cleanses that asked me to drink juice all day and I just COULDN'T. It just wasn't for me. This however looked like something I could handle. Here is what a typical day looked like:

First thing: H20

Breakfast: Vegan Shakeology with Banana

Green tea

Mid morning- Fiber Sweep

Lunch: Fruit and Veggies + a nutritious protein shake

Green tea

Mid  afternoon- veggies and avocado

Dinner: Veggies, Vegetable Broth + nutritious protein shake

(See, it isn't bad for 3 Days!)

What are my results?

Well, I feel a lot less bloated. I also am noticing a decrease in my sugar and carb cravings (those beastly suckers!). 

I lost 5.6 pounds of bloat, water weight, and bad decisions :) and I lost a quarter of an inch off my hips! Drastic? No. But y'all--it is 3 Days! If anything tells you that you can get ripped in 3 days...RUN away from that deal. Real changes take hard work, consistency, and discipline. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise! 

I gained some confidence heading into my new program and starting with a refreshed body!
